Protection of Candidates’ Personal Data
The personal data you provide to us, any updates to it, and any other data you provide to us during the selection process (the “Candidate’s Personal Data”) will be processed by Medsavana S.L. (“Medsavana”), with registered office at Calle Gran Vía 30, planta 10, 28013 Madrid, and contact email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Purposes of Processing
The Candidate’s Personal Data will be collected and processed as part of a selection process for a Medsavana job, for the purpose of analysing the candidate’s skills and abilities, generating his/her profile and assessing his/her application for the jobs available at Medsavana at the time of submission of the application, or while the Candidate’s Personal Data is stored by Medsavana for those same purposes.
Medsavana S.L. may also use the personal data of the contact persons whose data is provided by, or by reference to, the Candidate in order to move forward with the Candidate’s selection process and find a suitable job, for which purpose the Candidate must ensure that he/she has informed and obtained the consent of each of these people. In addition, subject to the Candidate’s consent, we shall use the Candidate’s Personal Data to inform them periodically, both by written and electronic means, of news and products and services that may be of interest to them and may be related to the requested employment, including any information deemed appropriate to their particular profile.
Under no circumstances will automated decisions be made that may significantly affect you based solely on the automated processing of Candidate’s Personal Data.
Legitimacy or Legal Basis
The legal basis for the processing of the Personal Data is the consent of the Candidates for the search for a job or employment, and, where appropriate, once the selection process has progressed, the performance of the pre-contractual relationship between Medsavana and the jobseeker or candidate for a particular job or other similar job during the retention period of their curriculum vitae. The processing of Candidate’s Personal Data linked to that purpose is strictly necessary in order to comply with the relationship described and provide the described services.
If you ask us to send regular communications to inform you about Medsavana news, products and services related to the requested employment, the legal basis for processing your Personal Data will be your consent.
Access to Personal Data
Medsavana may engage other companies to provide certain services under its mandate and instructions. To provide these services, such as the management of applications and the selection process, third-party companies may need access to certain information and Candidate’s Personal Data on behalf of Medsavana. In such cases, such third parties shall have limited access to the information on the Candidates to the extent necessary to carry out the tasks entrusted to them, shall enter into a data processing contract with Medsavana and shall be obliged not to disclose the information or use it for any other purpose.
Similarly, Medsavana may disclose your Personal Data when required to do so by law, in court proceedings, to investigate suspicious activity or in any other way to protect the rights of itself and Candidates. In any such event, Medsavana undertakes to notify the Candidate that his/her Personal Data has been legally requested, to the extent possible and provided that this is not incompatible with the purpose for which such Personal Data has initially been disclosed.
Personal Data Retention Period
The Candidate’s Personal will be processed during the selection process and, once completed, for a period of one year from the date of receipt of the application for employment, from his/her last show of interest in a Medsavana application or from his/her last communication with Medsavana, including communications regarding any updates of his/her profile. At the end of this period, the Candidate’s Personal Data will be duly erased.
The Candidate may, at any time and under the terms established by the legislation in force, exercise his/her rights of access, rectification or erasure of his/her Personal Data, request that the processing of his/her Personal Data be limited, object to it, or request portability, clearly indicating the right he/she wishes to exercise and writing to the Human Resources Department of Medsavana, at the above address, or by e-mail to the following address email@example.com. Likewise, the Candidate may revoke his/her consent and may lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Agency).
